From April to June 2026, JBIC’s Bangkok Representative Office and Tokyo Head Office, as co-leaders of AZEC-SAVE PF, held a series of three discussions with ASUENE Inc. (“ASUENE”) regarding energy efficiency-related business in Thailand and potential areas for cooperation. The energy efficiency solutions provided by ASUENE Inc. are outlined below.

Thailand faces structural risks because approximately 58% of its power generation depends on natural gas, around 47% of which relies on imports. With LNG prices expected to surge by 120% and electricity tariffs expected to rise, energy-saving measures in the manufacturing sector are shifting from a “nice to have” to a “must” management priority for maintaining competitiveness.
■ Seeing the Potential for Electricity Cost Reductions That Receipts Alone Cannot Reveal
