Exchanged Opinions with KEYENCE (Thailand) Co.,LTD. on its energy saving-related business

On June 13, 2025, JBIC Bangkok Representative Office, a co-leader of AZEC-SAVE PF, held discussions with Keyence (Thailand) Co., Ltd. regarding its energy-saving business and future cooperation opportunities.

Keyence (Thailand) Co., Ltd. sells clamp-on gas flow meters as carbon neutral (CN) solution products. Generally, approximately 30% of electricity consumption in factories is attributed to compressors, and many compressors are known to have air leaks. To achieve energy savings, measuring gas flow is an effective method.

Normally, measuring gas flow requires cutting pipes, which can only be done when the factory is not in operation. However, with clamp-on gas flow meters, installation and measurement can be performed without cutting pipes.
