On June 17, 2025, members of the AZEC-SAVE PF Secretariat, including Embassy of Japan in Thailand, JBIC Bangkok Representative Office, and NEDO Bangkok Representative Office, conducted a site-visit to a residential property equipped with a Home IoT system developed by Panasonic Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Panasonic Thailand), and conducted discussed on energy-saving-related initiatives.

Panasonic Thailand is engaged in initiatives related to energy-efficient housing utilizing Home IoT systems as one of its solution businesses addressing social issues. The company has signed an MoU with Chulalongkorn University and is conducting a demonstration study (on a Home IoT system and residential space design technology that balances comfort and energy efficiency in Thai housing) with support from NEDO. Additionally, Panasonic is currently collaborating with local developer SENA Development as well as Hankyu Hanshin Properties (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to conduct pilot experiments to measure energy-saving effects and verify comfort levels.

In addition to energy-efficient homes, Panasonic is expanding its energy-saving support services, which include visiting factories to create diagnostic reports, and is also exploring energy solution businesses that combine solar power generation, battery storage, and energy management systems.

AZEC-SAVE PF aims to support these efforts toward energy saving. In addition to initiatives focused on energy saving using IoT systems, plans are also underway for an energy solution business that combines solar power generation, battery storage, and an energy management system.

AZEC-SAVE aims to support these efforts toward energy saving.
