Exchanged Opinions with Idemitsu Apollo (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. on its energy saving-related business

On September 3, 2025, JBIC Representative Office in Bangkok, co-leader of AZEC-SAVE PF, held discussions with Idemitsu Apollo (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. regarding its energy-saving business and future cooperation opportunities.

The company is strengthening sales of its liquid immersion cooling oil products, which cool servers by submerging them in liquid for data centers. Immersion cooling is a technology that efficiently suppresses server heat generation using a specialized oil that does not conduct electricity and possesses high thermal conductivity. It combines safety with cooling performance and features easy maintenance. While air cooling and water cooling are commonly used for server cooling locally, the company aims to promote energy savings in Thai data centers and contribute to decarbonization through its immersion cooling oil business.
